There are many different reasons why your fish might have cloudy eyes but the symptoms are the same.
Your fish will have eyes that appear coated with a white substance. There might not be too much of a change in behavior but you will notice the eye discoloration.
Cloudy eye happens for a few reasons: The ph is really low in the aquarium, the fish has contracted an internal parasite or has developed cataracts.
The best way to get rid of the cloudy eye is to test your water and do water changes on a regular basis. Once you begin this process, the cloudy eye will begin to heal and all will be well.
The way you can prevent cloudy eye from happening is by doing the same things that you do to cure it. If you keep testing and cleaning the water, you will prevent a lot of disease and fish loss.
