Eel Lights Up Christmas Tree!

Out of all the things that the human brain could think of, this by far was the last thing on my mind. A Christmas tree being lit up by an eel? Yes, ladies and gentlemen, this is a true story!

I came across this article on a few different websites. Here is one of those links:
It's beginning to eel a lot like Christmas

The muscle movements that the eel makes while swimming releases electric currents into the water. In order to harness the electricity, it is collected to two aluminum plates that are in the water. The electricity is then used to power the Christmas Tree. The electricity that is collected from the eel is not constant so it creates a flickering affect with the Christmas lights. Not only is this a spectacle to see but it is also eco-friendly.
